Hrere

Hrere
(fl. 1075 BC)
Wife of a high priest of Amun and mother of Nodjmetand an unnamed king. She may be the wife of Piankh, who wrote to her in his absence to carry out administrative duties in Thebes, but it has also been suggested that she may have been the wife of the high priest Amenhotep. It is not altogether clear whether there were one or two Hreres.
